About Me
This is my story!

I was a gymnast for 11 years, starting at level 2 until Xcel Platinum. Gymnastics helped me in many ways. It taught me discipline through strength training, communication skills through working with my coaches and teammates, and bravery to attempt difficult skills.

After some major injuries from gymnastics, I started working towards advancing my professional career. This started with robotics. Being in the vex community helped me develop many interpersonal skills including communication and leadership. Despite my age and lack of experience, I quickly rose to the title of leader because of the interpersonal skills I showcased along with my ability to learn quickly!

Meet Freya! No, not the actual Norse Goddess, my dog. She was adopted on my 17th birthday. She is absolutely gorgeous and super smart. I even taught her how to use buttons to talk! She can ask to go on a walk, go outside or even demand a treat. She liked that last button so much she broke it! She is the best dog ever and so gentle with my great grandmother.

One of the most important people in my life is my little sister. She has Autism and DiGeorge Syndrome. I have spent my life developing ways to adapt to her differences, understand how her mind works, and make the world more accessible for her. She absolutely loves anime and anything to do with the ocean.
